The quaint village style suburb of Cleveland is located 25 kilometres south-east of Brisbane’s CBD.  On weekends Cleveland offers easy access to the ferry terminals that can whisk you away to a variety of the islands located just off-shore; such as North Stradbroke&Peel  &Maclay island.  Or visit one of Cleveland’s historic sites,the lighthouse which is situated at Cleveland Point. Cleveland is easily accessible from the CBD via Translink train services.  It is a 1 hour train ride into the city from Cleveland train station which is located on Shore Street West.

Cleveland being situated in the ‘sunshine state’ experiences warm weather.  The weather makes it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere either by watching boats in the Raby Bay marina; or catching up for coffee with friends at one of the great coffee shops nearby.  There is a variety of shopping located in Cleveland from Stockland mall to the boutiques and stores located on the sidewalk.

Redlands Library is located in Cleveland and is an attractive quality; adding to the sense of community.  It promotes education in the area, which is notable, through both State Schoolsand Independant Schoolsoffering a wide variety of learning possibilites for all ages.
